Let’s fly, let’s fly away

I’m off again this time on my first big overseas adventure! First stop, the island of Maui in Hawaii. Travel buddies include my friends Geoff, Wes, Michael, and Sean. We’ll be on Maui for two whole weeks! This isn’t my first time to Hawaii but it will be my first time on Maui. I’m excited to explore the island, above and below the water! I’ve heard great things about the diving around Maui and Hawaii in general is a gorgeous place. I’m sure we won’t be bored!

As mentioned, this is a big overseas trip and Maui is only just the beginning. After Maui, I’ll venture onto the island nation of Palau followed by trips to Vietnam and Thailand. At the end of November, I’ll return to Hawaii and visit Kauai with my family. I won’t make it back “home” again until the beginning of December! Being the start of the trip, it certainly feels strange and exhilarating knowing I won’t be back for a while. I’m a little sad to be missing another gorgeous fall in the Pacific Northwest however I’m excited to explore new places and cultures I’ve never experienced before.
